SeiRogai’s proposal to use our proprietary method to produce a VR360-degree virtual tour promoting tourism in Minato Ward has been certified and sponsored as a 2022 MINATO City Promotion Crew project. As a company that strives to bridge Japan to the world, SeiRogai has developed a new approach to filming VR360 virtual tours that significantly increases audience interaction and engagement to more effectively convey the attractions of Minato City to tourists from Japan and abroad.
A Completely New “Interactive” VR 360-Degree Virtual Tour Experience
SeiRogai’s virtual tours are 360-degree tours that can also accommodate VR devices, where instead of simply spectating, audiences can actually participate in an immersive travel experience. By building upon SeiRogai’s strength and expertise in storytelling and video production, we offer a new form of entertainment that will enable audiences to fully experience the richness and diversity of Japan’s history and culture by traveling all over the country from the comfort of their home.
The need for virtual tours of Japan is greater than ever with the country recently being ranked by the World Economic Forum as the #1 tourist destination, while concerns related to the pandemic still keep borders shut to most tourists.

Moreover, with virtual tours that emphasize education and entertainment to enhance user engagement, SeiRogai aims to contribute to SDG goals by providing equitable access to diverse travel and learning experiences. Minato ward (also known as Minato City) is known as one of the most international areas of Tokyo, and has one of the highest populations of foreign residents at 8%. Within an area of only 20.37 km2, it concentrates the majority of the business and diplomatic activity in Japan. The ward’s main business districts are Toranomon, Shimbashi, and Shiba. The main commercial areas include Aoyama, Akasaka, and Roppongi.
The high concentration of foreign company headquarters and embassies, plentiful western-style housing options, international schools, and many services and businesses geared to Westerners make it the go-to choice for most expat professionals and their families.
With a population of 255,320 and 12,421 inhabitants per square kilometre, the city is one of the less populated wards in Tokyo, however it receives ample foot traffic during the day and on weekends.
The average age of a Minato ward resident is 42.6 years of age, making it one of Tokyo’s younger wards. The main residential areas are Azabu and Shirokane. They constitute some of Tokyo’s most expensive neighborhoods to live.
